Spanky's Restaurant
Spanky’s has been a West Texas favorite since 1982, serving classic comfort food just steps from Texas Tech University. Best known for our legendary Fried Cheese, hand-crafted burgers, crinkle-cut fries, and ice-cold beer, Spanky’s is a must-visit for students, families, and longtime locals alike.
Whether you’re grabbing lunch between classes, meeting friends for happy hour, or stopping by after a game, Spanky’s delivers a fun, laid-back atmosphere with bold, crave-worthy flavors. With its retro diner vibe, friendly service, and iconic menu, Spanky’s has been part of Lubbock’s food scene for over four decades — and we’re just getting started.
