About
Founded in 1993 by Master Klay Pittman, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coral Belt and West Texas pioneer, Pittman Jiu-Jitsu Academy is Lubbock's original BJJ school and the second school established in the state of Texas. With a lineage under Master Carlos Machado and the Gracie family, our academy has been rooted in tradition, integrity and excellence for over 30 years. We offer structured, family-friendly programs for kids, teens, and adults focused on practical self-defense, discipline, confidence, leadership and fitness. Having trained more than 10,000 students, Pittman Jiu-Jitsu continues its mission of developing strong, individuals and families - on and off the mat.
