About

Scott Shurmur, M.D., board-certified in Internal Medicine, Interventional Cardiology. His outpatient practice is at the Center for Cardiovascular Health. He is affiliated with University Medical Center for inpatient care. He completed medical school at the University of Massachusetts, a residency for Internal Medicine at the New England Deaconess Hospital, a cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowship at New England Deaconess Hospital. Dr. Shurmur has dual primary clinical interests – cardiovascular prevention and lipids, as well as structural and interventional cardiology. Dr. Shurmur also serves as Division Chief of Cardiology and Vice Chair of Internal Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
