The Charles E. Maedgen, Jr. Theatre, located on the east end of the School of Theatre & Dance Complex, opened in 1964 and has hosted over 200 productions and many theatrical competitions. Extensively renovated in 2022, the 294-seat proscenium theatre features the latest lighting, sound, and projection technology complete with an ETC Apex light board and more than 350 ETC LED series lighting instruments; a 28-speaker multizone sound system with an Allen and Heath digital board; and two Barco 4K front and rear projectors as well as in-house projection capabilities.

We offer a variety of classes from: academic drafting, storytelling, and mark making design. Drawing Horse Studios is so proud to bring this style of study and design to the Hub-City and West Texas. Because of Covid, we have temporarily changed our hours and activities, and can now offer 1-on-1 tutoring via video chat.
